Tungsten Carbide Application

Cemented carbide is a high hardness and melting point of carbide, with Co, Mo, ni as binder sintered powder metallurgy products. Its temperature hardness can reach 78~82 HRC, capable of 850~1000℃ high temperature, cutting speed can be higher than high speed steel $number times. However, its impact toughness and flexural strength are far worse than those of high-speed steel, so it is rarely made into monolithic tools.
